Construction Update: December 21, 2018
December 21, 2018
WORK PERFORMED THIS WEEK:
- Since there have been cold temperatures as of late, there was a curing compound that was mixed into the concrete to help speed along this process of curing. This compound will help keep the internal temperature of the concrete up to speed during the curing process.
- The workers from Brooks and Mazzola are also covering each concrete pour over night with blankets. These blankets are helping contain the heat to keep the curing process from being interrupted by the cold.
- The crane that will be used to hang all the structural steel arrived on-site this week. It arrived in several pieces and was assembled on-site over the period of two days. After being assembled, the crane was then moved into position on the southwest side of the building pad where the erection process will begin.
