Memphis Sports Medicine
Even the top athletes aren’t immune to sports injuries. Our team has been the go-to orthopaedic provider for professional teams, high school athletes, and weekend warriors for decades.
When you’re hurt, we’re the team that will get you back to your best. At Campbell Clinic, you’ll find dedicated orthopaedic specialists who will assess your injuries, treat them correctly, and encourage healthy recovery. For athletes, this is especially important, because the wrong treatment can cause further injury. Our specialists are experts in injuries for every part of the body — and you won’t find a better place to recover once you’ve had a setback.
Campbell Clinic is the official sports medicine provider for the city’s professional athletic programs as well as local colleges, high schools, and athletic organizations.
Injuries require careful recovery — especially if you’re eager to get back into your sport. Physical therapy can only get you so far, which is why we recommend athletes complete the Return to Play program at Accel Performance and Wellness on our Germantown campus.
Return to Play is an intensive 8-week course that requires two evenings per week and begins with a functional movement test. During the program, you’ll work with performance coaches to build a personalized training and recovery plan based on your existing physical therapy protocols. You’ll recover in small group training sessions and have access to the expertise of the orthopaedic experts at Campbell Clinic as well as the performance coaches at Accel.
Accel Performance and Wellness helps athletes improve performance with a focus on healthy movement. They are powered by Campbell Clinic and all their training and recovery facilities are available on the Campbell Clinic Germantown campus.
Does Campbell Clinic treat concussions?
Our team is prepared for all manner of sports injuries. In cases of a concussion, we will perform an initial concussion assessment to determine the severity of the injury. This includes neuro-cognitive evaluations to assess the way the mind reacts to an injury. We also have a strict return to play protocol that patients must follow to receive written clearance to return to their sport.
